As we stay in and limit our time outside, sipping whiskey makes tour time inside fun. We are bringing you another set of cocktail ideas to make at home!
We bring you these three cocktail ideas to make at home with California Cowboy Whiskey
San Diego Sunset
Want something refreshing for the spring time? Then the San Diego Sunset is perfect for you. This refreshing cocktail will have your thirst quenched.
- 4 oz Kombucha of choice
- 2 oz California Cowboy Whiskey
- Seeds of 1/4 pomegranate
- Ice Cubes
Making this cocktail is very simple. To remove seeds, slice pomegranate in quarters. Gently scoop seeds into a bowl using a spoon. Place seeds in glass and pour whiskey and kombucha. Then, just add ice, serve and enjoy. Cheers!
Wild Horse Julep
- 7-8 mint leaves
- 1.5 teaspoons sugar
- 2 1/2 ounces of California Cowboy Whiskey
- Mint Sprig for garnish
This classic is as refreshing at it is tasty. Simply place the mint leaves and sugar in an old-fashioned glass (or julep up if you have). Muddle well until the leaves begin to break down, releasing the oils and aroma and the sugar dissolves. Add the bourbon. Fill your glass with crushed ice and stir well until the glass becomes frosty. After that, garnish the cocktail with a mint sprig. Sip and enjoy!
The Gun-Slinging Sour
The whiskey sour is a classic cocktail you can never go wrong with. One of our favorites is the Gun-Slinging Sour that uses California Cowboy Whiskey.
- 2 ounces California Cowboy Whiskey
- 3/4 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce maple syrup
- splash of water
- orange wedge + maraschino cherry to garnish
This classic take is always a hit. For this recipe, simply combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, and shake well. Strain into a chilled rocks glass over ice and garnish with the orange and cherry. Thats it! Enjoy!
